Running an international standardization project, the IT services provider chose CID as the software supplierfor a central roll out management software which is ICR3®, a long-year CID product that was customized for this company now. ICR3® scans all workstations of the enterprise via the network for installed hard- and software and connects to technical and commercial asset data systems. Upon this current system environment the standardization is configured within ICR3® and the future configuration of a system is automatically set up for each employee. At the end, the roll out planned in single manageable waves is executed, communicating with different hard- and software roll out systems provided by internal and external delivery units.

The city, having an administration with about 10.000 employees working in 62 single departments, is running a standardization project: the departments are on the way to become managed centralized by a single IT unit. By providing zero touch provisioning services, new workstations or moved clients get the needed software and right configuration automatically during the first logon so that there are as good as no manual IT support efforts needed onsite.

The city chose CID as its supplier for individual IT management solutions, integrated with systems like Active Directory, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and SAP.
